The Thyroid Foundation of America's primary function is to educate and support patients, as well as the physicians and other health professionals who care for them. Period. To this end, we publish brochures on all thyroid topics, provide thyroid books for sale, and run public education forums around the USA, as well as maintaining this website. Our physician referral service
We maintain accurate and up-to-date lists of thyroid specialists in the USA and can provide you with a list of physicians in your area. All physicians are board certified thyroid specialists and registered members of either the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society, or the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. While we can relate comments given to us by other patients, we do not rate the physicians in any way.
